This is a really great 1980's vintage Comme des Garcons woven floral paisley wool skirt with a red velvet waistband. The beautiful pattern is in various shades of red, burgundy, purple, olive, blue, and black, which create a slight ombre effect. The front of the waist has a buttoned flap that comes up higher than the rest of the waistband almost like an apron and we love that there are functional side pockets. There is pleated and gathered fabric along the waistband to add more volume to the rest of the skirt and it is fully lined.
There are buttons down the center front opening that is hidden by the buttoned flap.
Made in Japan of 100% Wool and 100% Cotton velvet. This is labeled size M and we estimate this would best fit a modern day US size 6/8.
